Evaluation services.

Individualized psychological evaluations guided by your concerns, history, and the purpose of your assessment.

01 / ATTENTION & FOCUS

ADHD evaluations

For children, adolescents, and adults with concerns about distractibility, impulsivity, organization, task completion, or executive functioning. Assessment explores how these concerns affect school, work, relationships, and everyday routines.

An evaluation may include a clinical interview, developmental and educational history, standardized testing, and rating scales. Parent or teacher input and relevant records may be included when appropriate.

Findings are considered alongside mood, anxiety, trauma, and other factors that can affect attention. A written report provides diagnostic impressions and individualized recommendations, which may support treatment planning and requests for school accommodations.

02 / LEARNING & EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT

School evaluations, IEPs & 504 plans

For students who are struggling with attention, academic performance, learning, behavior, or emotional concerns at school. Testing can help identify areas of strength and difficulty and provide information about the supports a student may need.

Depending on the referral question, an evaluation may include cognitive and academic achievement testing, behavioral and emotional measures, parent interviews, teacher input, and review of school records.

Reports can include recommendations for classroom accommodations, interventions, and further school evaluation. Olivia helps families use evaluation findings to support requests for an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Section 504 plan.

Eligibility and the services provided are determined by the school team. A private evaluation can support that process but does not guarantee a particular plan or placement.

03 / SURGICAL PREPARATION

Bariatric psychological evaluations

For individuals whose surgical program requires a psychological evaluation before bariatric surgery. The assessment considers emotional well-being, eating-related history, expectations, coping strategies, and available support.

The evaluation may include a clinical interview and psychological measures, with attention to readiness for the behavioral and lifestyle changes involved in surgery. Recommendations address support needs and concerns that may affect preparation or adjustment.

Bring your surgical team’s referral requirements. Findings and documentation are tailored to the referral question; final surgical decisions remain with your medical team.

04 / EMOTIONAL & BEHAVIORAL CONCERNS

Diagnostic psychological assessments

For concerns involving anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, behavior, or overlapping symptoms that need further assessment. Evaluations help clarify diagnostic questions and guide treatment recommendations.

Clinical interviews, relevant history, psychological measures, and records are used to explore symptoms and their effects on daily functioning. Testing is selected according to the purpose of the evaluation.

A written report integrates findings, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations for therapy, additional assessment, referrals, or other supports.

05 / TRAUMA & STRESS

Trauma-related evaluations

Assessment of emotional and behavioral symptoms associated with traumatic or stressful experiences. The evaluation considers relevant history, current symptoms, functioning, and support needs in a sensitive, individualized manner.

Olivia’s experience includes trauma evaluations for children and adolescents, including assessments involving foster care. Findings can help inform diagnostic impressions and recommendations for trauma-informed treatment and support.

06 / OTHER REFERRAL QUESTIONS

Additional psychological testing

Cognitive, academic, personality, and other psychological measures may be included when relevant to your evaluation. The scope of testing depends on the questions that need to be answered.

Other specialized or referral-based evaluation requests are considered individually. Please confirm the purpose, documentation requirements, and suitability of the service before scheduling. Autism evaluations are not offered.
